Junior Materials Scientist/Engineer

We are seeking a Junior Materials Scientist/Engineer to join our fast growing Materials R&D team. This position requires a BS/ BSE in Materials Science and Engineering, Ceramics Engineering, or Polymer Engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare powder formulas for evaluation and testing
• Operate 3D printer to build test parts
• Analyze materials performance
• Assist in scale up of powders to production levels
• Attendance of technical conferences and seminars

 

Desired Skills:

• Experience with powdered materials
• Experience with polymer chemistry, aqueous coatings, composites, or  cements
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Computer literate, proficient with MS Office product suite
• Ability to execute experiments according to standard procedures
• Excellent ability to communicate
• Desire to learn
• Hands on attitude
